Gold Miner is a swing-and-release claw. The hook sweeps over the pit. Release to send it out along that angle. Gems are light and return quickly. Rocks are heavy and waste time. Gold sits in between. You have forty seconds and a quota of 40. The claw cannot be steered after it leaves — the only skill is when you let go.
